Ferntree hostel offers a tranquil base to relax and explore. Just a short walk to the local bar (PKs Jungle Bar), restaurants, food store, pharmacy, bat house, and the white sands of Myall Beach. Access the rainforest with a day or night tour, check out the Great Barrier Reef with an Ocean Safari reef tour (only 25 minutes to reef); explore the Dubiji boardwalk, famous Cape Tribulation Beach lookout and the plethora of hiking trails.

The hostel offers a communal kitchen, pool with barbecue area, volleyball court, bar and entertainment area, television lounge and access to the Cassowary Café for breakfast and dinner at Ferntree Rainforest Lodge (next door). Car parking is complimentary.

How To Get There:
Ferntree Hostel is located 140 kilometres north of Cairns (approximately two and a half hour drive) in the heart of the ancient Daintree Rainforest in Cape Tribulation Village and a short walk from Cape Tribulation Beach, Myall Beach and the Dubuji boardwalk. Domestic and international visitors can fly direct to Cairns, where a number of transfer options to Cape Tribulation are available.
