Bungalow Bay has its very own koala sanctuary onsite, allowing guests to experience and interact with koalas, crocodiles and snakes. Three daily interactive tours are held at 10.00 a.m., 12.00 p.m., and 2.30 p.m., which also include a guided bush walk in the surrounding habitats of wetlands, pandanus and melaleuca forest.

There are 17 ferry services departing Townsville daily. A public bus will meet the ferry on Magnetic Island and drop you to the front door.
