The Cottage at The Sanctuary Springbrook is located on Springbrook Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland. The World Heritage Listed Springbrook National Park is an eco-tourism wonderland and world-famous for its rainforests, unique environment and ancient volcanic landscapes.

The Cottage is self-contained and provides the perfect address for couples to explore and experience the majesty of the rainforest, walking tracks and waterfall lookouts. Often their guests take the opportunity to mix the tranquility of the rainforest with a short drive to one of the famous local beaches and the numerous exciting attractions of the Gold Coast! Some also visit nearby locations including Natural Arch, Mt Tambourine, Canungra, Scenic Rim, Byron Bay, Uki, Woolumun, (Mount Warning) and the many original rural villages of this delightful region. However, all of their guests just love to sit and relax on the Cottage verandahs which overlook award winning-gardens, to watch the native birds and in the evening listen to the chorus of wildlife in the creek.

General Comments

Blue Quandong Cottage is located within the grounds of The Sanctuary Bed and Breakfast at Springbrook. The Queenslander design incorporates classic country-style with high ceilings and french doors leading to private verandahs. The Cottage is self-contained and provides a private and romantic escape for one discerning couple. Walk down to their creek through thousands of beautiful rainforest trees and sit and listen to the unique sounds of nature.

Evening meals are available. Two course meal plus complimentary glass of red or white wine $35.00 per person. Light snacks are also available - toasted sandwich / tea and coffee $12.00 per person.

How To Get There

From the Pacific Motorway (M1) take exit 79 (Mudgeeraba Springbrook). Follow the signs to Springbrook (route 99) through Mudgeeraba. Springbrook is a 30 kilometre picturesque drive from Mudgeeraba. Once you arrive at Springbrook continue on past Pine Creek Road then Lyrebird Ridge Road. The Cottage at The Sanctuary is 750 metres on the left.

Note: Springbrook has limited commercial facilities. There is no fuel, Automatic Teller Machine, alcohol or groceries suppliers. You should fill up with fuel and other supplies as required in Mudgeeraba.

Majestic Queenslander self contained cottage, king size bed, private ensuite includes antique bathtub and shower, lounge (fold out for two extra persons),LCD wall television with surround sound stereo and a complimentary dvd library to choose from.

There is a romantic gas log heater for those chilly winter nights.

Its large private wrap around verandahs look over cottage and emerging rainforest gardens.
