Children are welcome. Deshons Retreat is set in 23 hectares of natural bush. Wildlife and birds can be seen in all seasons. Children under three years old are free.

Disabled access is available as the retreats are all one level and easy to access.
Pets Allowed:
Yes. Deshons Retreat welcomes pets, however they remain the responsibility of their owners at all times. There is a fenced yard and straw bale kennel available should you wish to leave your dog while visiting local attractions such as the Bunya Mountains. Dogs must remain outside and have their own bedding. Deshons Retreat is a breeding kennel, there is one resident Labrador and often puppies as well.
General Comments
Walking tracks are signposted over the property, they range from very gentle strolls down to the windmill and back or up to the escarpment and back to Deshons Retreat along the main road. Walk over to the spreading pepper tree and enjoy a cheese platter and listen to the birds.
How To Get There
Deshons Retreat is nine kilometres north from Kingaroy, at 164 Haydens Road, Booie. Travel four kilometres north from Kingaroy on Bunya Highway, turn right into Booie-Crawford Road, right into Haydens Road, follow the signs to Deshons Retreat. Crane Winery is beside Deshons Retreat.

There is a minimum stay of two nights on all weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014.
Extra persons are charged at AUD30.00 per person, per night.
Children under 3 are free.

Contemporary open plan retreat 10 by 5 metres with king size bed, pure cotton sheets, wood fire and air-conditioning. Living area includes fold out double sofa bed, designer chair and electric barbecue. Large adjoining car port, funky butterfly chairs.
Bathroom features a double bath, shower over, heat lamp, luxury towels, hair dryer, and a range of indulgent toiletries made exclusively for Deshons Retreat. Bose docks for your iPods or mp3 players, flat screen LCD/LED televisions with movies on hard-disk, and books.
