Beachside Holiday Units comprises nine absolute beachfront, studio, one bedroom and two bedroom, fully self-contained, air-conditioned units only 20 metres across the lawn from beautiful Queens Bay beach, Bowen, top end of the Whitsundays in Queensland.
A quiet location to enjoy the beautiful, arid, tropical weather of Bowen, "Climate Capital of Australia", Beachside is adjacent to beautiful parkland and five minutes from the centre of town with beautiful Horseshoe Bay Beach only a 10 minute stroll along a seaside walking track.

And don't forget the fishing in Bowen...its great...catch flathead, sweetlip and other reef fish straight off the beach in front of the units whilst dolphin and stingray spotting..
The only place on the Queensland coast where the Great Barrier Reef grows near the beach, you can snorkel all day, every day, for free or arrange to scuba dive over untouched pristine coral reefs and view little Nemo to large tropical reef fish. It is an experience not to be missed!

Children are welcome. There are parks nearby catering for children and the waters of the Coral Sea are protected by the Great Barrier Reef allowing calm waters for ocean swimming.
Disabled:
There is access for guests with a disability. Flat level entry to a two bedroom unit with shower rails and large flat entry for wheelchairs to bathroom and shower. They welcome the chance to accommodate and assist people with disabilities.
General Comments
Alternatively enjoy a peaceful swim in their pool or relax on the sun lounges. Barbecue facilities are also available to entertain new found friends. The fishing straight off the beach is fabulous to provide lunch and dinner.
Be collected at the door to take trips via Airlie Beach (50 minutes away) to the fabulous Whitehaven Beach, the Great Barrier Reef or visit one of the 74 Whitsunday Islands where you can snorkel or scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef's magnificent coral. Do whale watching in season, enjoy tropical rainforest walks and wildlife or for the adventurous go on a crocodile spotting safari.
The boating, fishing and sailing opportunities around the Islands from nearby Airlie Beach are unlimited in their options to visit the reef or the islands. The local Bowen sailing club is available to join in and crew a yacht during their regular weekly yachting activities on the Coral Sea.
Airport access is easy from the Whitsunday Coast Airport, at nearby Proserpine or also from Hamilton Island with an enjoyable boat trip to Airlie Beach. Car hire is also available if required in Bowen or in Airlie Beach or at the Whitsunday Coast Airport.
How To Get There
The property is Beachside Holiday Units, 38 Horseshoe Bay Road Bowen. As you enter Bowen from either direction follow the signs to the Beach Resorts and Horseshoe Bay. You will drive along Horseshoe Bay road and stop at the Beachside Holiday Units which are on the beachfront on the left.
You can come from the Whitsunday Coast Airport by taxi or bus which will bring you to the town centre or you may wish to hire a car by prior arrangement from Bowen or the airport.
They are delighted to organise transfers for you if required.
Studio and One Bedroom Unit
The Studio Bedroom Apartments are fully self contained, fully furnished and re-furbished unit with air-conditioning and ocean and garden views from the apartment or balcony. The unit is only a 20 metre flat walk to the beautiful sandy Queens Bay Beach. A full kitchen with all necessary appliances and equipment with queen sized beds.

Two Bedroom Unit
The absolute beachfront Two Bedroom Units have views to the ocean and manicured gardens. The units are just a 20 metre walk to the spectacular sandy beaches. They have queen size beds and single beds with a pullout couch in the living room with all linen supplied. They have fully equipped kitchens with utensils and appliances. The living room have a television and DVD player.

One Bedroom Unit
The One Bedroom Units are all fully self contained with queen sized beds and a pullout couch or single beds. Two units are completely refurbished to brand new and are on the waterfront with ocean views. Two units are good condition but large older style units with garden and water views. All units are fully equipped and with full kitchens.
