Airlie Beach to the north provides a vast array of dining, shopping, trips and excursions to the Great Barrier Reef in a wide choice of boats and age appropriate activities. Boats of all types are available for hire at Airlie Beach.
Inland at the huge lakes and dams there are further fishing and exploring opportunities.

How To Get There:
The property is located on absolute beachfront in Burton Street in a small village called Midge Point (named after one of Captain Cook's tender boats!) about 20 minutes drive south of Proserpine and about 35 minutes drive south of Airlie Beach. The location is near the Laguna Quays Resort in the Whitsundays.
If approaching by car on the Bruce Highway, the turn off to Laguna Quays is just south of the O'Connell River bridge. Take that turn off and follow the signs to Midge Point. On booking you will be provided with precise instructions to locate the property and obtain keys.
If you are arriving by air then the Whitsunday Coast Airport is the best option and it is only 20 minutes by car north of the property. Hiring a car is the best option given the location of the property.

The beachfront house has been refurbished and renovated with new bathrooms, furnishings and equipment. There are three bedrooms with a king-size bed, two single beds and a set of double bunks. There is a full bathroom with bath and an additional toilet and powder room. The large open plan living room, kitchen and dining room look directly onto the ocean as does the master bedroom. A full laundry is provided for your convenience. The property has spacious fenced grounds for the children.
