Description

Anchor Down Holiday Apartments, Surfers Paradise, is a low rise apartment complex with two bedroom fully self-contained apartments. Located just a short stroll from the heart of Surfers Paradise, most of the apartments overlook the extensive tropical gardens, which extend down to the Nerang River.

There is a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, as well as a covered barbecue area, within the gardens, which are available daily for the use of all guests.

Anchor Down Holiday Apartments are conveniently located close by to the many restaurants, clubs and shopping districts of Surfers Paradise, which offer visitors a wide variety of dining, entertainment and shopping opportunities. Surfers Paradise Coach Transit Centre and Lawn Bowls Club are located just a few minutes' walk from the apartments.

There is an onsite tour desk which can arrange all entries with transfers to the many attractions and theme parks that the Gold Coast has to offer.

Reception and car park accessed from Peninsular Drive, just past the front entrance and down to the left.

Tariff Information:
Please note that One Bedroom Apartments are not available during any Shoulder or Peak season.
Please contact the operator for rates during the Schoolies Season.

Children:
Children up to two years of age stay free of charge if sharing bedding with an adult. Adult rates apply for children three and over. If a cot is required for an infant, a fee per week for cot hire applies.

Cancellation Information:
Low Season: AUD50.00 administration fee if cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival and no refund if cancelled within 14 days of day of arrival or in the case of a no show unless the apartment is rebooked at the full rate.
Peak Season: AUD50.00 administration fee if cancelled 28 days or more prior to arrival and no refund if cancelled within 28 days of arrival or in the case of a no show unless the apartment is rebooked at the full rate.
Transferring bookings also incurs the AUD30.00 administration fee if within 14 days of low season arrival date or 28 days or mid/high season arrival date.

Other Facilities:
All two bedroom apartments have two singles and one queen bed. If a one bedroom apartment is booked one of these rooms is locked off - please specify bed type if you book a one bedroom (available low season only).
The apartments are fully self-contained with a full kitchen including stove, refrigerator and microwave oven and all have full laundry facilities too. Some apartments also have a full size bath. All apartments have a holiday package of Foxtel cable television at no additional cost. Air-conditioning is an additional AUD10.00 per night unless specified by management.

Restrictions:
If there are more than four persons occupying the two bedroom apartment or an infant added to the one bedroom apartment the following fees apply: Fee of AUD8.00 per child applies for infants less than two years, with port-a-cot provided. Extra person charges apply for persons three and over and a rollaway bed is provided. Up to five persons are permitted per two bedroom apartment and two adults and one infant per one bedroom apartment.

How To Get There:
Access to the property from the south, follow the Gold Coast Highway (Ferny Avenue) to Surfers Paradise. Turn left into Peninsular Drive, at Surfers Paradise Bowls Club. Follow Peninsular Drive for 200 metres. Anchor Down Apartments are to the left on the bend.
From the north follow the Gold Coast Highway to Surfers Paradise. Turn right into Peninsular Drive. Anchor Down Apartments are 200 metres ahead on the left.
