The Alara Motor Inn is a beautifully presented motel, located approximately three minutes drive south of the city heart of Mackay. All 41 units have spilt system airconditioning and have recently been completely refurbished.
The fully licensed, a-la-carte Sea Winds restaurant has also been recently refurbished and offers a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy their renowned dishes and friendly service, open Monday to Thursday from 6.00 p.m. Guests may also choose to dine al fresco style on the terrace overlooking the tropical surrounds of the pool. Room service is also available.
For your enjoyment, the complex features an inviting sparkling salt water pool. There is a fully equipped guest laundry for your convenience. The Alara Motor Inn has fully equipped conference facilities that can be booked for meetings, interviews, functions as well as private dinners seven days a week. Refreshments and equipment can be arranged.
